Sacred Heart Music Center honored Hans Aas, who recently passed away. The former Duluth doctor had been a leader at Sacred Heart Music Center for more than two decades since it's inception. He served on the board and also as president.

To honor Hans' dedication throughout the years, Sacred Heart Music Center dedicated its altar stage in memory of the longtime supporter.

"He made significant contributions in all of his life activities," said Sacred Heart Music Center President Arno Kahn. And of course, the 25 years he spent with Sacred Heart as a volunteer, and helping to guide it down the road, huge contribution to the community, so he is just a great guy and a wonderful friend," he added.

The sound stage will now be called the Aas stage. The night also included a fundraiser.
