Update: St. Paul Woman Dead in Hwy. 61 Crash

The Minnesota State Patrol says it was 31-year-old St. Paul Woman  who died after a crash in Duluth on Monday.

Authorities report the crash occurred on Highway 61 near Brighton Beach Blvd. around 3:26 p.m. 

A St. Paul man was driving a Buick, when it crossed the center line. The Buick was then struck by another vehicle. 31-year-old St. Paul resident, Courtney Ryan, was riding as a passenger in the Buick. She perished from the crash.

The driver of the Buick, along with a 42-year-old Duluth woman driving the other vehicle, were both taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. 

The state patrol says road conditions were listed as snow and ice covered at the time of the crash.
