The Red Cross is assisting those impacted by a fire on the Iron Range Saturday morning.

The Northland FireWire reports firefighters from Keewatin, Nashwauk, and Hibbing were dispatched to a fire at a house in the 200 Block of 2nd Avenue West around 11:30 Saturday morning.   

The fire was contained to the attic area, and four cats in the home were rescued by firefighters, the Northland FireWire reports.

No one was injured, and the cause remains under investigation.
