Record donations for 2020 Trees of Hope fundraising campaign

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, WDIO viewers broke a new fundraising record.  This year's campaign resulted in $19,967 worth of donations.

That money will go to help support:

• The Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance, which provides cancer research and treatment  programs;
• The Northern Lights Foundation, which supports families with children who are battling life-threatening illnesses;
• Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, which helps men and women in their battles with drug and alcohol addictions;
• New Hope FOR Families, which provides foster care help for children during times of trauma and transition.
