Rafe Carlson is pretty excited about his first singled released out of Nashville, It's titled "Lost and Found," and is about an on-again, off-again relationship. "The guys I worked with in the studio brought it to whole other level," he said. He wrote it on his couch, waiting for a Zoom call with another musician.

The Hermantown grad has been spending about half of his time in Nashville, working on his career.

"Really, my vision is to make it a long career, and put my feet in as many doors and try as many genres as I can. But my roots are definitely in country and rock for sure," he told us.

He's playing at Ace's in Superior on Thursday night from 5-7pm. And he's heading to Tampa to tour with Presley Tennant later this month.
