"Come As You Art" Fundraiser at Prøve Gallery

Updated: October 19, 2019 10:56 PM

The Prøve Gallery in Duluth held a come as you art event Saturday evening to raise money for the non-profit organization.

The "Come As You Art" event is the gallery's annual member drive that goes towards the gallery's funding to bring experimental art and the community together, through their variety of cultural and contemporary pieces.

"Tonight we're celebrating our eighth year as an organization, and our fifth year as a non-profit organization," said Taylor Kline, Prøve Gallery director and curator. "We're kind of having a quirky spin on a rural Minnesota tradition of a meat raffle and integrated with that we're doing other silent auctions."

Along with those events, live music was held and a costume contest was held in the evening.
