The City of Duluth says plowing efforts on main roads will continue Sunday during the day with the hope of plowing residential streets by Monday morning.

The city says residents should plan on moving cars to the odd side of the street by 8:00 Sunday night to abide by alternate side parking, but adds that if you live on a street that has not been plowed yet to wait for the plow to come through before moving your car to the odd side of the street.

Cars won't be ticketed if they aren't moved to the odd side of the street by 8:00, Kate Van Daele, City of Duluth Public Information Officer says.

Alternate side parking allows plows to complete clearing snow and improve traveling conditions, the city says.

The city says plows have been out since 2:00 a.m.

The no travel advisory remains in effect, as of 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
