Orr Man Found Guilty of Robbing Bank

A jury has found an Orr man guilty on two counts of 1st degree aggravated robbery. William Arnold Lindeman, 58, had been accused of robbing the American Bank in Orr back in March of 2018.

The sheriff's office said Lindeman used pepper spray on two employees during the robbery. He fled on an ATV afterwards. Someone reported seeing an ATV just north of Orr following the robbery, and Lindeman was arrested shortly after.

His jury trial took place in Hibbing this week. Lindeman's sentencing is set for October 17th. He remains in custody.

The FBI assisted on the case.
