Perfect weather for mothers, as well as perfect weather to get out and enjoy the munger trail.

Sunday was the second annual Experience Munger Trail group skate event. The morning event was free for all communty members. Skaters, rollerskiiers, runners, walkers, even stroller pushers came out to race.

The route went out and back on the Munger Trail, and participants could go at any speed for any length of time.

The event is hosted by NorthShore Inline Marathon, and the race director says it's a perfect way to get more people to experience one of our great local trails.

"The Experience Munger event is a great way to get out for the first time of the year, meet new people, or just enjoy an awesome local paved trail friends and family," says Mike Ward, NSIM Race Director. "We thought it would be a great idea to get people out here, expose them to this awesome training resource here in Duluth."
