St. Luke’s and Gateway Clinic are partnering on a multi-million dollar project that will bring more healthcare resources to people who live in the Moose Lake area.

On Wednesday, they announced a partnership to build Northern Lakes Surgery Center.

"Along with construction jobs, the surgery center will provide ongoing patient care jobs in the Moose Lake Community,” said Nicholas Van Deelen, St. Luke’s Chief Medical Officer and Vice President of Medical Affairs. “This will be an incredible new option for outpatient surgical and procedural care in the Moose Lake Area.  Not only will it allow people to stay close to home, it will help this community thrive."

The center will be located in the former Shopko building at 4791 Co. Road 10 in Moose Lake.

The building is 25,000 square feet. The surgery center will use approximately 9,000 square feet, with the additional footage anticipated for additional tenants in the future.

Northern Lakes Surgery Center is set to open next summer.
