Former pastor Richard Lemaster and Pastor David Norland organized the seminar and chose important topics to discuss that related to Graham.

"Everywhere that I’ve been for the last week, I come across people that have been influenced by Billy Graham," Lemaster said.

Pastor Norland said Graham played a special role in his upbringing and said he wanted to incorporate Graham into Saturday’s seminar.

“Gave the four presentations and we ended up modeling it right after Billy Graham's crusade pattern of first, God's love for sinners, second, the call to repent, third, look to Christ the Savior and he alone saves, and then lastly, the call of decision," Norland said.

Graham preached to approximately 215 million people in over 185 countries and territories.

"He's touched a lot of people and a lot of people share their different stories, 'This is what Billy Graham meant to me,' or 'How it's impacted me,' so I think it's had a great impact on our community," Lemaster said.

Johnny Cash music was played as a way to remember the friendship the singer and evangelist shared. Church attendees got to learn more about Graham by reading his biography.

Janice Podgorski, a church member, enjoyed the seminar.

"I'm really happy that a lot of people who have not had the opportunity to be part of Billy Graham’s crusade probably have now been exposed to it," Podgorski said.

One goal of the seminar was for everyone to learn more about Graham and find closure with his death.
