Musolf Elected to St. Louis County Board

Unofficial results show Keith Musolf has been elected to fill the St. Louis County Board Fifth District Seat.

Musolf replaces Rep. Pete Stauber (R-Minn.), who left the board after being elected to Congress. 

The seat has been vacant since Stauber resigned in January. 

The Fifth District commissioner represents people west of Duluth in Hermantown, up to Knife River, and in many of the townships surrounding Duluth. 

Musolf received 994 votes, topping Hermantown Mayor Wayne Boucher to win the special election. Boucher received 905 votes.
