Pedestrians injured in multiple vehicle crash on Highway 53 in Grand Lake Township

Around 5:15 PM, a Buick heading northbound struck a deer. When it stopped on the right shoulder of Highway 53, a Ram truck hit the Buick. There were two pedestrians checking on occupants of the Buick when a Ford also struck the Buick -- causing one of the vehicles to hit the pedestrians.

According to the latest incident report from the Minnesota State Patrol, the pedestrians hit have potentially life threatening injuries.
