The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says a mother and her son, thought to be missing in the Pince County/Mille Lacs Area, have been found safe.

The bureau says 39-year-old Laura Lee St. Awesome and her infant son, Theo Stillday, were found sometime between Thursday night and Friday morning.

Pine County put out a missing person alert for them on Thursday and were concerned for their welfare.
