Duluth Mayor Emily Larson spoke to the city's Chamber of Commerce memberes as part of Let's Do Lunch Duluth.

There she spoke about her first term as mayor and things the city accomplished with her leading it. Larson says its important to touch base with the community and business leaders at the start of the year so they know what is going to change this year, and to hear what they think is needed.

"I have found in this job that the beginning of the year is the time when you go back out into the community especially after securing an election to just touch base," Larson said.

Larson said that her first years as mayor were spent updating a lot of mechanical work in the city. More work is on the way early in her term as more construction will take place on Superior Street.
