Updated: May 12, 2019 09:47 PM

As winter fades away, there's an excitement in the air. It's the 8th annual May Faire Festival, sponsored by Spirit of the Lake Community School. Everyone in the community was invited to come out of hibernation to join friends in celebrating spring.

The May Faire Festival offers up a lively roster of activities: May pole dancing, live music, food, a cake walk, face painting, petting zoo, kids crafts, bubbles, field games, jump rope making, flower crowns and braiding, and so much more.

The event ran from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Peace United Church of Christ.

All proceeds go to Spirit of the Lake Community School to support the new campus that opens fall of 2019.
