Marc Lotter, a campaign official for President Donald Trump, is in Duluth this weekend for the 8th Congressional District GOP Dinner.

Lotter is a Director of Strategic Communications for Trump’s 2020 reelection bid. He is a speaker for the GOP dinner going on Saturday.

Lotter said he wants to get people engaged in the 2020 election and talk to the people in the Duluth area and Iron Range on what Trump has done for the state and what he'll continue doing if he gets re-elected.

"This 2020 election is going to be a choice, a choice between do you want to keep those higher pay checks and the jobs that are coming. We have for the first time in American history more jobs available than we do unemployed people," said Lotter.

Lotter said Trump wants to win Minnesota, and said he was close to it in the last election. Lotter added that household incomes are at the highest they've ever been since Trump has been in office. He said poverty and taxes are going down and added that those are the kind of things people elected Trump to do.
