The St. Louis County Sheriff's office says 34-year-old Julian Daniel Decoux was last seen outside of the home on Lavaque Road in Canosia Township on Sunday afternoon.  Staff members, deputies, and volunteers conducted a search with the aid of canines and a drone, but Decoux was not found.

The sheriff's office says Decoux has left the house before but has never been gone for this amount of time.

"Due to his current functioning level he would likely generate some type of public attention or 911 call," a sheriff's office news release said.

An additional search of the area around the home is planned.

Lecoux was last seen wearing a bright green winter hat, an orange hooded sweatshirt, a black vest, black pants and new grey tennis shoes.

The sheriff's office asks anyone with information on Decoux's whereabouts to call 911 or the Sheriff's Office Investigative Division in Duluth at 218-336-4350.
