Police: Man found dead in Fort Frances outbuilding, no public safety concerns

Ontario Provincial Police say there are no public safety concerns after a man's body was found in an outbuildng in Fort Frances.

Members of the OPP located the deceased male while conducting a property check at a hotel on Scott Street on Sunday, July 5. Police identified the man as 52-year-old Thomas Roen of Fort Frances in a Thursday news release.

A post mortem examination was conducted on Wednesday in Toronto.

Police say their investigation is continuing and ask anyone with information to call the Fort Frances OPP at (807) 274-3322 or 1-888-310-1122, or call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
