The body of 42-year-old Clayton Bob was found on May 7 on the Onigaming First Nation, which is near Nestor Falls.  Treaty Three Police Service and Ontario Provincial Police investigated it as a sudden death.

The OPP now says a 28-year-old man from Sabaskong First Nation was arrested in connection with the death on May 18.  He was due to appear in a Kenora courtroom on May 21 to face an aggravated assault charge.

Police continue to investigate the death and ask anyone with information to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or their nearest police authority.

Bob was from the Big Island First Nation, which is on the eastern side of Lake of the Woods.  The May 15 discovery of human remains near Big Island First Nation is also under investigation, but police did not give any indication of a link between the cases.
