LuAnn Foss Rowell and Byron Rowell graduated from Virginia High School in 1969. They took a trip down the memory lane Thursday as they also celebrated their 50th high school reunion.

The couple arrived in style, in their 1968 Camaro Z28, sporting their VHS Letter Sweater & Letter Jacket. They sat in a booth at Canelake’s Candies now known as the "First Date Booth." The First Date booth has a bench seat made from the only remaining piece of the previous booths that were removed 36 years ago.

LuAnn and Byron now have three daughters and grandchildren.

What made the day extra special is that the current co-owner of Canelake’s Candies, Pamela Canelake Matson, was a classmate of the couple.

The couple enjoyed a Green River and Vanilla Coke “just like way back then!”
