Works of art created out of ice were on display for all to see event goers. And winter activities for kids and families like the infamous snow slide were open for business.

Vendors offered food and drinks on site and a number of businesses around town offered "ice specials".

"In this area, we know that we have winter about six months out of the year so it's one way to just get out and enjoy it, get rid of that cabin fever and you know, celebrate where we live," said Nikky Farmakes, Marketing Director of Travel Superior.

Each year, the Ice Festival draws in people from all over the Northland and beyond.

Fireworks served as a finale as the final night of Ice Festival wrapped up.
