Chicago Man Charged in August 13 Drug Bust

Duluth Police say a 26-year-old Chicago man has been arrested for First Degree Sale of Heroin. 


Duluth Police and members of the Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force arrested Juron Carter in the 300 block of N. 2nd Avenue East in Duluth on August 13.

Police say Carter was found to be in possession of 18 individually packaged bags of heroin and $1,447.00 in cash.

According to Duluth police, Carter was out on bond from a previous arrest in March, when he was charged in St. Louis County Court with Aid and Abet 1st degree sale of Heroin and 2nd degree sale of a controlled substance. During that arrest, Duluth police say they seized 41 grams of heroin and $10,000 in cash.

Carter was formerly charged on Friday, August 16 for this latest incident and remains in custody at the St. Louis County Jail in Duluth.  His bail has been set at $100,000.
