Owners Close Island Lake Inn

The Island Lake Inn is now closed for business. "We gave it our best shot," shared Jesse Frye, one of three brothers and their wives who own the property.  They bought it from some friends three years ago. "It's been a journey. I think everybody is proud and happy of where we brought the place to."

"But now my brothers are both expecting babies, and our general manager is being deployed. So we decided this was the time to close it down, and make a change," he explained.

But you can still come and walk in the doors one more time. They're re-opening on New Year's Eve, from 11am-5pm. "We love our local customer base up there. And we want to give them a chance to say goodbye to Beau, and their servers and bartenders. And then we can say thank you one last time," Frye added.

He hopes that someone can reopen the restaurant before the busy summer season.
