Another update on Monday, the DNR said the injured hunter is hospitalized for treatment, and is expected to make a full recovery.

The DNR's Bureau of Law Enforcement is looking for information regarding individuals or groups who would have been hunting around 11:00 Sunday morning in Minong Township.

The DNR's area of interest is the land bordered by these roads: East Sleepy Eye Road, South of Sleepy Eye Fire Land, North of Nancy Lake Road and West of CCC Road.

The DNR asks you to call their WDNR Violation Tip Line if you have any information regarding this event. That number is 1-800-TIP-WDNR or 1-800-847-9367.

Their tip line is open 24 hours a day. This hunting incident was one of four others across Wisconsin over the opening weekend of the annual gun deer season.
