Hibbing Police: No Signs of Foul Play in Death

Authorities say there does not appear to have been any foul play in the death of a man whose body was found Thursday afternoon.

A person walking a dog found the body and informed police at 1:50 p.m. The body was in a wooded area on the north side of Carey Lake.

An autopsy was conducted by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office. Chief Steve Estey said Friday after reviewing information from the autopsy and an investigation of the scene, there does not apepar to have been any foul play.

The age and name of the person who died have not been released.

The Minnesota Bureau of criminal apprehension assisted Hibbing Police with the incident.
