UPDATE: Authorities Identify Hermantown Man Who Died in Motorcycle Crash

The 32-year-old Hermantown man who died in a motorcycle crash in Duluth in the early hours of Sunday has been identified.

Ryan Scott Mathisen died after he was ejected off his motorcycle, according to Minnesota State Patrol.

At around 2:03 a.m. Sunday, Mathisen was traveling northbound on Interstate 35 at a high rate of speed when he hit a cement wall. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. 

The Minnesota State Patrol, Duluth Police Department, and MnDOT responded to the scene.
