It's been extra busy for Mary's Lake Street Floral in Chisholm, since they put together 55 arrangements for the Adopt-a-Resident Valentine's event at Heritage Manor.

The flowers arrived on Friday morning at the skilled nursing facility, and brought smiles to many faces.

The idea came from a facility in southern Minnesota, which did something similar over Christmas.

Tina Janezich, activity director at Heritage, said, "It's been overwhelming, all the heartfelt support from the community and surrounding areas."

"With COVID restrictions in place last year, we really wanted to do something to make these residents feel so special," she added.

The group sent a big thank you to Mary's!
