The patrol reports that a Chevy Silverado driven by Joanne Josephson, 51, of Finland, crossed the center line near the Lafayette Bluff Tunnel. Josephson had been heading north, and the patrol said she hit a car heading south.

Julie Lutz was a passenger in that car. She's being treated at the Hennepin County Medical Center. Jeffery Lutz was the driver of that car, and is being treated for his injuries at St. Luke's in Duluth.

A third vehicle was also involved. The patrol said it was hit by the Silverado. No one in that vehicle was hurt. Neither was Josephson.
