Several local businesses donated items that were up for bid at the silent auction, and volunteers were pleased with the turnout, saying it will help them with their mission and future goals.

"This fundraiser we're doing here will help us hopefully do two more homes for next year," said volunteer Bob Beresford. "That's our goal for next year."

All of the funds raised will support the organization's regional building and repairs programs.
