Shoes will be collected at Toyota dealerships in Duluth, Superior, Virginia, and Ashland during business hours until June 24th, the end of Grandma's Marathon weekend.

Any type of shoe is accepted. Kolar Toyota general manager David Solon said, "It started out with previously used running shoes, now they've gone to where Goodwill accepts any and all types of shoes. So if you've got a shoe, bring it, we'll accept it, and make sure it gets donated properly."

They will also try to fill the bed of a Toyota Tundra in Pioneer Hall at the DECC on the Thursday and Friday leading up to Grandma's Marathon weekend. All shoes collected will go to the Goodwill of Duluth.

WDIO is a major media partner of Grandma’s Marathon. Watch for coverage leading up to race day, and live streaming of the Marathon and Half Marathon on all WDIO online platforms.
