Glensheen Glammed Up for Christmas Season

Updated: November 13, 2019 08:46 PM

Glensheen really gets glammed up for Christmas. For most of this week, the popular attraction is closed so staff can put up 25 different trees and hide 25 different elves!

Jane Pederson, marketing manager, said, "It's really fun. It's my favorite time of year. We bring out the Congdon Christmas stories. We talk about the poinsettias that Bob Wyness would grow in the greenhouses. And we re-make Clara Congdon's orginal shortbread cookie recipe, made by Johnson's bakery."

The season is getting started a week earlier this year too. You can start enjoying the Christmas tours on Friday at 9am. There will be three to choose from this year.
