Nearly 4,000 girl scouts throughout the area sold over 935,000 packs of cookies this year.

And to finish off the year even stronger, they held the "rock the block" event - which gave folks one last chance to stock up on the cookies while the girls thanked the customers.

Chief Operating Officer, Julie Svir-Peters says "we rocked the block, we went around and waived and thanked the customers. We informed the girls of the top cookie sellers. We handed out prizes and had prize drawings and they were able to have their las chance selling girl scout cookies. Its been an awesome season and we thank everybody for the support!"
