It is called "Lure of the North," and it premieres Friday.

The filmmakers spent a few days with the Freking family to learn about the sport of sled dog racing and what it's like living off the grid near Finland, Minn.

"The fact is, I have never taught a dog to pull," Blake Freking says in the film trailer. "It's purely instinctual from hundreds or thousands of generations before them."

Blake and Jennifer Freking finished first and second in the 35th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, which wrapped up Tuesday night.

The premiere event is from 6:30-9:30 p.m. tomorrow at CHS Field in St. Paul. You can register for it here
