Police announced Friday that a 27-year-old woman was arrested Thursday on the potential charge of aiding an offender in the death of 33-year-old Timothy Jon Nelson.  The woman was being held in the St. Louis County Jail while prosecutors work on formal charges.

Early on Sept. 22, Nelson was found in a vehicle in the 300 block of North 62nd Avenue West with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Prosecutors have already charged 31-year-old Christopher Floyd Boder, 38-year-old James Michael Peterson, and 29-year-old Amber Rose Louise Forrest.  Boder and Peterson are charged with aiding and abetting murder in the second-degree, while Forrest is charged with aiding an offender

Police say they are still investigating the death and ask anyone with information to call the Violent Crimes Unit at 218-730-5050.
