Updated: December 04, 2018 11:05 PM

Former Duluth and Superior mayor, Herb Bergson, will serve one year of probation.

Bergson was arrested in last February after his car hit a tree in Lake Nebagamon.

Last week he pleaded guilty to obstructing an officer and failing to install an ignition interlock device which was part of a previous OWI conviction.

If Bergson does not obey the terms of his probation, he could spend twenty days in jail.
