The mission serves over 90,000 meals to neighbors in need.

Organizers say there was a good turnout today at the food drive but they look forward to more donations for the cause.

"It's been a great turnout here," said Gordy Johnson, board member of the Union Gospel Mission. "The people have been extremely generous. We've already taken three truckloads down to the union mission already today."

The food drive will continue Sunday in Duluth. They will be located at the Mount Royal Fine Foods from 9 AM to 4 PM.
