Firefighters in Chisholm rescued two baby deer that had fallen into a sinkhole.

A woman walking her dog noticed the fawns, and called 911 on Monday evening.

When crews responded, they noticed the hole was pretty narrow, only 2 feet by 2 feet.

One firefighter was able to stretch his arm down and bring out both deer.

They were covered in mud, but just fine. Momma deer was nearby, and the three were then reunited.

Great work, public safety teams!
