The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office said a house in Angora Township was damaged in a fire early Friday morning.

A deputy was on patrol around 2:30 a.m. when they noticed smoke coming from the area of highway 53 and East Anton Road.  

When crews arrived, the house was fully engulfed.  The homeowners were out of town at the time and no one was inside during the fire.

The Sheriff's office continues to investigate.
