Court documents allege that on Sunday evening, Martin Luther Paulk Jr. and Dallan Thorstenson attacked a man with a baseball bat, and kidnapped him from his house.

The two men allegedly put the man into the trunk of his car and court documents say, "Paulk then pointed a handgun at [the man's] face and stated, 'Don't move or I'll shoot you right in the face,' as he closed the trunk, confining [the man] inside."

The man was eventually able to escape, and was able to make it to a neighbor's house where he called for help. He was then taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Court documents say the extent of the man's injuries aren't known, but that officers say he has a broken leg, broken arm, and wounds on his head that required staples.

Paulk and Thorstenson are being held in the St. Louis County Jail on $300,000 bond.
