A 56-year-old Duluth woman died on Monday morning during a crash.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's office reports that the woman's name is Kathryn Clark.

Deputies responded to the call of a crash with injuries in Normanna Township around 7am.

First responders found that Clark had been ejected from the SUV she'd been driving. It appears she died on impact.

Authorities said she had been driving east on E. Pioneer Road, when her vehicle left the roadway, struck a driveway embankment, and then launched into a tree.

This is the second fatal crash on St. Louis County roads in the past 24 hours.
