The Esko school board voted on Tuesday night to adopt a hybrid model for high school and an in-person learning model for elementary students for the upcoming school year.

In the hybrid model, students will be broken up into A and B groups.

  • Students in the A group with last names A-K will attend in-person on Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Students in the B group with last names L-Z will attend in-person on Wednesday and Friday.

The school district says students who reside in the same household, but who have different last names will be placed in the same hybrid grouping (A or B) even if they don’t fall into the same alphabetical name group.
