Dozens of skaters from the Duluth Figure Skating Club got a workshop at Mars Arena from Cirque acrobats like Julien Duliere and Zabato Bebe.

"I think for a lot of figure skaters, they first grew up with the Olympic dream in mind, which is fantastic," Bebe said. "But we want to show them that there are also other things that they can pursue."

Bebe is from Austria and said he enjoys teaching kids because of his own childhood.

"I remember when I grew up every time we had skaters coming into our little club. I felt extremely inspired by what they would share about their story, about their skating philosophy," Bebe said.

CRYSTAL is about a young woman who falls through the ice of a frozen pond. Her reflection shows her her own creativity and guides her back to reality.

There are six performances at the DECC:
Friday, April 19 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 20 - 12:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, April 21 - 1:30 p.m., 5 p.m.

There are still tickets available.
