Police say it happened in the area of West 1st Street and 28th Avenue. Little is known at this time about what led to the shooting but a WDIO News crew noticed several bullet holes on buildings and vehicles in the area. A woman who says she heard the gunshots described the incident.

"I heard one pop, after that we heard several more, six to eight shots," said Lincoln Park resident Sharon Sullivan. "Literally at first didn't think anything of it, thought it was fireworks. Until through my bedroom window I did see a vehicle turn off its lights, drive through the alley, and then park."

Police are continuing to investigate this incident. We'll keep you posted both on air and online as we learn more.
