Duluth Public Schools have a plan for the fall.

All students will be back in person five days a week, Superintendent John Magas said Tuesday night.

Vaccinations and COVID-19 testing are encouraged but will not be required. Unvaccinated students and staff will be encouraged to wear masks.

Kids between 2 years old through 5th grade will have to wear masks. Masks will also be required on district transportation.

COVID-19 cleaning protocols and hand-washing stations will remain in place.

"We're providing this information now to support planning decisions about the upcoming year," Magas said in a press release.

Magas said the district's protocols are subject to change with COVID-19 case rates in St. Louis County.

More on the district's Safe Learning Plan can be found here.
