Duluth Police Investigating 2-Year-Old's Death

DULUTH, Minn. - Duluth Police are investigating a 2-year-old's death.

Officers were called out at 8:26 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10 to the 100 block of 56th Ave. W for a medical emergency. 

Police report when they got there, the 2-year-old boy was not breathing. According to DPD, "life saving efforts failed to revive the child and he was pronounced dead at the scene." 

Authorities say there were no obvious signs of trauma, but they are waiting for autopsy results from the Midwest Medical Examiners Office to figure out the cause of death. 

DPD says the investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
