Duluth Police announced Friday that prosecutors have charged 25-year-old Kyham Lavon Dunn and 27-year-old Solomon Byrd Jr. with aid and abet third-degree murder.  Police said the arrests are in connection to the sale of fentanyl that resulted in the overdose death of a 25-year-old woman in September.

A third man, 21-year-old Brandon Capone Williams-Gillard, was also arrested, but is not charged in connection with the death.  Williams-Gillard faces drug charges and a charge of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

All three men were arrested on Thursday.  They remained in the St. Louis County Jail as of midday Friday.

In 2016, a Douglas County jury found Dunn not guilty of being party to murder in the 2014 shooting death of Garth Velin.  He was among five people charged in that case.
