The spokesperson says the motel is currently going through the repair process, and will need the city to inspect and go through the permitting process before the motel is able to reopen.

Refunds are being offered to anyone who prepaid online, the spokesperson says.

Back on May 31, guests were evacuated from the Motel 6 after some reported seeing smoke and flames.
