The Duluth Public Library and AICHO will host two events to get people signed up for RentHelpMN, a program offering assistance to people who got behind on rent payments during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The two events will be held on the third floor of the main library downtown:

  • 12-4 p.m. Friday, July 16
  • 12-4 p.m. Friday, July 30

They recommend bringing the following documents to complete the application:

  • Landlord's contact information
  • Copy of the lease
  • Past-due rent statement
  • Income documentation
  • ID
  • Utility bill

They say folks who qualify could get up to 15 months of rental assistance.
