Last Friday, fire crews battled a blaze at an apartment off of 4th Street. And at times, people drove over the hoses on the ground.

That's very concerning for Assistant Chief Clint Reff. "You're not realizing the potential damage that can be done in that one second of time. You can put a hole in the hose, or puncture it, and now you've shut off the water supply. I'm trying to prevent injuries with our firefighters. And these are truly life and death situations, if you stop that water flow."

He is asking you to go around and find another way.
